stillness, wide open

the eye roams far
over a land
opening wide as the dome of blue
arching above us

honey-coloured stubbly fields
undulating song of earth
where the corn danced in slow waves
beneath soft summer breeze

lines of almond trees
guarding walls of drystones
beat by the sun, passed by the wind of time
like the life within their confines

stillness spreads inside
from the blue haze of mountains,
the silken flowing of evening gold,
nature's quiet and serene persistance,
from your light in the tangerine sky.

'nature's quiet and serene persistance' <3
your poetry has acquired such special stillness and at the same time epicness with time. there is a wistful air of surrender to the flow of life winds, there is also a hidden ache that echoes of bliss. always a soulful beauty in words you reveal.

Thank you kindly for this warmhearted support *hugs*
I was lucky to spend three weeks with views like the one in the photo - so this was very inspiring.
