Quote

She had seen people become prisoners of these fortresses, their loneliness, and never leave them until the end of their lives, and she hoped Tin Win would learn what she had learned over the years: that there are wounds that time doesn't heal, but it makes them shrink to a size one can live with.

colours

which colour is the wind

brushing the hair of the pine trees

which cling to an abyss above the sea

sighing from longing to rest in the roots

which colour is the sea

the ever-changing but constant

dance of waves reflecting the vast

filling ear and heart with eternity

which colour is your soul

wearing sunsets in infinite skies

over the ocean's deepness

kissed by the calm of a tender rain

and the fragrance of roses.
