silver

days pass
as drifting clouds before the sun
your light turns ocean fields to silver
turns windswept meadows into waving seas

who keeps a wave
who captures wind
who ever holds the light
but sea-deep hearts.

i have so many instant favorites amid your verses, and this is certainly the one ~ adoring how you captured the beauty a whole changing yet ever-loving realm in eight lines. thank you always, Martin.

Thank you as well, my friend : ) At least is consoling that words are not ephemeral.
