#220

night at the coast
wind from the sea
passing the cherry tree
blooming for some short springtide

my gaze roams darkened depths
widespread without a shore
unfathomable unknown
beneath the starless dome

only in farthest haze
remains a lighthouse faint
remembrance of her smile
in a cherry blossom garden.

i think if someone who doesn't know English would hear this poem, he/she would enjoy just how it sounds..it sounds beautiful and somehow mesmerising. and it has a dusky pink tone to it, perfumed with soft spring nostalgia. thank you for sharing~~~
