The Call That Never Happened

Maybe the cables were cut or
the satellites were busy with dreams
while watching the stars playing
hide and seek or playing tag
with moons or simply gazing at
man's faults and agonies and trying
to shake their heads, tangling their wires, losing
their connection to Earth, ignoring all those unfulfilled
dreams soaring up to the sky, all those imploring
pleas, unheard supplications, silent sighs, cries of wounded hearts.

Maybe it was like that.

Maybe an inner voice refused a connection.

It may have been the unusually large sun spots that have been reported during the past couple of days, too. Whatever it was, definitely a fantastic poem!

Thank you, Bill. It was just a thought.

I love the new look of your blog. These words are so serene despite the pain that lies behind them - the lost connection.

May be it was like that.
The call that never came.

Like the horizon,
Like the stars and the moon
And the land beyond the rainbows

The more you wait for it, the less real it becomes.

May be it is like this.
This call that never came.

A totem for our dreams,
A token that redeems,
fate from its wicked schemes.

May be it is as it should be.
The call that never came,
was never meant to come.

I am sure it will come when it is the right person and the right time.

There was an interesting chain reaction of stories and poems written by Winnie @ http://catawampus.me , Lady Nimue @ http://ladynimue.wordpress.com and me. You can read the poem part here: http://catawampus.me/2012/01/31/chain-reactions/

Martin, this is fabulous - I just love it! The marriage of technology and the natural world you've created is just perfect.

Sometimes the Universe does not let us connect. You will know this, because who ever you try to connect with in this moment will not be available. The Universe knows best in these moment to makes us stay alone with whatever it is.

Thank you Q : ) The universe should change its communication provider.
