(...)

holding the heart
in her hand

she melts ice flowers
alighting on her window pane
perfuses white curtains
silken and lace
on a weightless wing
of a soft piano melody

she soars to universal skies
on a prayer to heaven
between fierce tempest and serene hues of dawn
beckoned by Venus
in a cradle of feathered clouds
to gift divine words
served in a phial of hope

holding the hand
in her heart

(for Yelena)

Elegant and serene, what a beautiful sentiment you have woven with your words. A lovely tribute to your friend, Yelena.

I found my way here from Pam T's Art Loft. (am a great fan of Pam's work)

I notice some of your work is in German (my heritage is Austrian) so reading it was not too difficult.

Recently on my blog I added the "Translate this site" gadget for my friends in Europe that have a little difficulty reading English. You might like to add it for those that would love to know what beautiful words you have written in German.

Happy thoughts, Jenny

The question is, is it your heart/hand she's holding?
