#102

es herbstet
an allen zweigen
lauert der fall

in den kronen
grün der erinnerung
träumt noch etwas sommer

im wind weicht das licht
lauschen die ohren der dämmerung

wohin flogst du,
einsame schwalbe?

deeply touching.
the last two lines especially somehow remind me of wistful contemplations and longings in Japanese poetry.
and i've noticed the beauty of the word 'twilight/dusk' in many languages. 'dämmerung', 'sumerki' in Russian, 'ciaradh' (Scottish Gaelic)..:)

Thank you, dear Yelena. I haven't known those Russian and Gaelic words until now, and yes, they are beautiful. May I add 'crépuscule'?
